What is this page? This page explains how to request the deletion of the personal data processed by Plutonios S.r.l. through its applications, including the Hotea conversational assistant on WhatsApp and the chat widget embedded in our customers' websites. It is the data deletion instructions URL required by Meta for apps that access user data.

1. Data We Process

When you chat with the Hotea assistant on WhatsApp or through a hotel's website, Plutonios may process: your WhatsApp phone number; the name and contact details you provide; the content of the messages exchanged with the assistant; and information about your requests, quotes or reservations.

For data connected to a reservation or a stay, the data controller is the accommodation you are interacting with, and Plutonios acts as a data processor on its behalf. For processing not connected to a stay (for example, requests received through the plutonios.com website), the controller is Plutonios S.r.l.

Messages exchanged on WhatsApp are also stored by Meta according to its own privacy policies, which Plutonios does not control.

2. How to Request Deletion of Your Data

You can request the deletion of your personal data at any time, free of charge, in one of the following ways:

  • Email: write to info@plutonios.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Include your full name, the phone number (with country code) you used to chat with the assistant and, if you know it, the name of the accommodation involved.
  • WhatsApp: send the message "DELETE MY DATA" to the number you chatted with: the request is recorded and handled by our team.
  • Directly to the accommodation: if you chatted about a reservation or a stay, you can contact the accommodation itself, which is the data controller for that data.

3. What Happens Next

  • You receive an acknowledgement that your request was received.
  • We may ask for additional information to verify that the request comes from the owner of the number or email address: this is a security measure to prevent unwanted deletions.
  • Your data is deleted without undue delay and in any case within 30 days of the request. We confirm to you once the deletion is complete.

4. Data We Must Keep

Some data cannot be deleted immediately because the law requires us to retain it (for example, invoices and accounting records) or because it is necessary to protect a right in legal proceedings. In these cases we tell you which data is retained, why, and for how long; it will be deleted when that period ends.
